Fantastic Films is actively seeking co-productions to invest in.

Fantastic Films producers John McDonnell and Brendan McCarthy have a long track record in providing Irish tax incentives to film and television. We have excellent relationships with the Irish Film Board, RTÉ (the National broadcaster), Eurimages and post-production investment opportunities as well as being in a position to negotiate with Sales Agents and Distributors.

Recent co-productions include CHERRY TREE (Fantastic Films/ House of Netherhorror), THE HALLOW (Occupant Entertainment/ Fantastic Films), LET US PREY (Makar Productions/ Fantastic Films), THE LAST DAYS ON MARS (Qwerty Films/ Fantastic Films), STITCHES (Fantastic Films/ Solid Entertainment), EK THA TIGER (Yash Raj Films/ Fantastic Films), WAKE WOOD (Fantastic Films/ Solid Entertainment) and OUTCAST (Fantastic Films/ Makar Productions).

The main benefits of the Irish tax incentives are:

  • Worth up to 32% of qualifying budget
  • Is available to the production on first day of Principal Photography (on financial closing)
  • Does not require bank discounting
  • Is available to both Film and Television productions
  • Value is determined at the outset

In addition to financial investment Fantastic Films are in a position to offer a suite of production services including budgeting, scouting, scheduling, cast, crew and post production services.
